Travel Vaccs
Can anyone help me re charging nhs patients for travel vaccs???we are going to buy the vaccines in and give a travel pack and charge for the pack,any ideas on prices etc and how it works elsewhere?

We charge for the travel vaccine and then charge an additional cost to the patient for undertaking the vaccine as this is non-NHS work and what with the VAT rules that came into effect in May 07 it has been a right nightmare, for example, we charge £40 for yellow fever vaccine and then an additional cost of £11.75 (£10 nursing time + £1.75 VAT on the nurses time). No VAT is added to the actual cost of the vaccine
