![]() Can anyone help me re charging nhs patients for travel vaccs???we are going to buy the vaccines in and give a travel pack and charge for the pack,any ideas on prices etc and how it works elsewhere?

![]() We charge for the travel vaccine and then charge an additional cost to the patient for undertaking the vaccine as this is non-NHS work and what with the VAT rules that came into effect in May 07 it has been a right nightmare, for example, we charge £40 for yellow fever vaccine and then an additional cost of £11.75 (£10 nursing time + £1.75 VAT on the nurses time). No VAT is added to the actual cost of the vaccine
